Ever felt like baggage in your strongest of efforts meant to make your friends or family members comfortable? Well, a friend who helps out when one is in trouble is a true friend, unlike others who disappear when trouble arises. A friend in need is a friend indeed and everyone needs one. A salt of the earth for that matter.

Just like wine, a bit of friendship can be good but too much of it can be quite the self-destruction.

It is good to have meaningful friendships as Aristotle once confirmed. “Without friends, no one would want to live, even if he had all other goods,” said Aristotle.

With that said, it is wise to understand that you are who you associate with. If it fits, wear it, if it doesn’t, replace or change it. I’d go for replacement.

Sometimes, it is best advised to rise above. See yourself as a plant that needs a conducive environment to blossom.

When in situations that weaken, demoralise or diminish you, ‘kick the door open’ and walk. You are your own master- make yourself a future. Your happiness comes from within and so does peace and other virtues.

Cut free from darkness to enjoy love and light- the ideal energy of the Universe and wisdom.

Be a friend that you would want to have. To change circles is not meagerly based on how good or bad a character is but how much best it brings out of you.

After all, if you are your own perception and source of happiness consider living and let live. Don’t just be alive.
